What is on record
An optional duel in the Mandate Encampment against the Baishan Sect's senior disciple, who fights with a soft sword and punishes every careless attack with a purple-flash deflection and a counter. Drops the Soft Snake Sword and a Blackstone Fragment.
Who she is
Wu Lengshuang, the Soft Sword, is an optional boss of the Mandate Encampment. Game8 describes her as the Baishan Sect's senior disciple and Bi Taotao's first disciple, fighting with a soft sword while struggling to suppress her Sha-Chi; its type field reads "Perfect Transcensions", and the guide calls the fight parry-focused. PowerPyx's capture (Oct 29, 2026) opens on the quest Secrets of the Baishan Sect with the objective "Search the Mandate Encampment for the Baishan Sect Leader"; at 0:15, before the name bar appears, she says only, "So sorry!" There is no trophy for her.
What the footage shows
The name bar "Wu Lengshuang, the Soft Sword" is on screen from 0:25 to about 2:15. The arena is a dry gully of yellow grass between pale rock and bare, bleached trees. At 1:40 she sprints in at the right of the frame, a slight figure in white and pale red with the sword trailing; at 2:00 Soul closes in through a burst of blue sparks. After the fight the objective changes to "Examine Bi Taotao's body": at 2:55 the sect leader lies in a field of white flowers, and the subtitle reads, "This is Bi Taotao's body. If her puppet is found and defeated, will she awaken?" The Blackstone Fragment pickup at 2:35 carries its item text: a black fragment, neither metal nor jade, warm to the touch; four of them together permanently raise Attack and Guard Break by ten percent.
Attacks and how Game8 handles them
The fight turns on her deflection. When she parries a hit with a purple flash, Game8 says to stop attacking at once and read the glint that follows: a red glint is an unblockable counter to dodge, a blue glint a parryable counter that triggers a Ghoststep, and a quick counter with no glint, or a heavy counter that darkens the screen, can be blocked or dodged.
Her two-handed combo, the only attack she makes with both hands on the hilt, is always followed by an unblockable spinning slash; dodge the slash and counter. The acrobatic slash, a forward flip into a wide cut used at range or inside strings, can be parried for a Ghoststep. Anything without a coloured glint, block or dodge.
Drops
The Soft Snake Sword, a main weapon (KeenGamer, Game8), and a Blackstone Fragment (KeenGamer; on screen in PowerPyx's capture). The Soft Snake Sword is on the weapons page from the retail equipment menu; this is the fight that gives it.
The phases above are the ones shown in official footage, named by their on-screen name bars. Tells, punish windows and health thresholds are added only once the retail fight has been checked; we do not invent them from trailer cuts.
