A Maskwalker group fight in the shallows below the Village of Lu on Meigu Lake, part of the tale A Brother Once More: Jin, Xiu's brother, leads a band of red-clad Maskwalkers. Drops the Embroidered Shoes, the Soul Tempering material for the Scarlet Wraithblade.
Who he is
Grief-Stricken Jin is listed by KeenGamer as a main boss of Meigu Lake at the Village of Lu Shallows Dock and called a group fight; Beebom and OfZenAndComputing spell him Grief-Striken. PowerPyx's capture opens on the tale A Brother Once More: "Xiu's brother Jin wanders the shallows near Village of Lu by Meigu Lake." The reward is the Embroidered Shoes, the Soul Tempering material for the Scarlet Wraithblade, the weapon from Hua, Deadly Betrothed.
What the footage shows
The arena is a flowered meadow and a stony shallow beside the lake at 27% map completion. Several Maskwalkers in red robes charge at once; the name bar "Grief-Stricken Jin" is on screen from 0:15 to about 2:35 while Jin, in red with a long blade, fights among them. His lines run through the fight: "A-Xiu, don't be afraid... brother will tear those villains to pieces!" (0:15), "Anyone who stands in my way dies! I'll fight my way back... back home to you!" (0:20), "That's right! Come at me instead!" (0:50), "Over mountains of corpses and seas of blood, I'll return to her!" (1:25 and 2:40), "Hahaha... no one will stop me!" (2:05) and, as he falls, "If I fall... who will protect her..." (2:45). At 1:15 a red dome bursts over the shallows. At 2:45 the Embroidered Shoes are picked up: "During his two years in the Mandate, Jin secretly saved up a substantial dowry for his younger sister, hoping that, one day, she could leave the grudges of their family behind and live a life of peace and happiness. With these embroidered shoes, her dowry would finally have been complete. But Jin would not live to see the day when the Maskwalker threat was eradicated and he could return home safely. He became a Maskwalker himself; yet he still remembered the shoes and kept them carefully with him. Used to Soul Temper the Scarlet Wraithblade."
