What is on record
A giant, grey-skinned axe-wielder fought in a grey, rocky village in IGN's footage of the near-final build. Seen only in press footage so far.
What is known
Peng Meng, the Axemaster has not appeared in official footage. His name bar is on screen in IGN's video preview of the near-final build at 1:58 to 2:08 and 6:00 to 6:08. The entry is labelled Reported and uses a placeholder image until there is an official frame.
What the footage shows
He is much larger than Soul: a hulking, pale-skinned figure swinging a great axe in a grey, rock-walled village with a bare tree and low houses (1:58 to 2:07). His swings crack the ground (2:03 to 2:05), and at 6:06 to 6:08 the camera is close enough to show the axe head passing over Soul. Immediately after the fight the video cuts to Soul on the horse-drawn cart (2:08), which suggests the encounter sits near the opening of the game, but the footage does not say so.
Not on record
Not on record from any source we can cite: his region, role, phases, attacks and drop. The card image is a frame from official footage of another scene, not of him; he has no official image yet.
Director Liang Qiwei told 4Gamer on October 6, 2026 that every primary weapon and Phantom Edge in the game is obtained by beating a boss. Whether Peng Meng guards a weapon, and which one, is not shown in the footage, so no drop is listed.
Official footage shows a single phase. If the retail fight has a second phase, it is added here with its on-screen name bar; tells, punish windows and health thresholds are recorded only from the retail game.
