The Puppet Scavenger is the boss of the silver trophy Nothing Goes to Waste, "Defeat the Puppet Scavenger"; PowerPyx places it in the Crimson Manor side area of Weeping Creek Valley. KeenGamer calls it a hidden duo fight in the Scavenger Pens against two bosses at once, the second being Acolyte Hansui, the fourth hidden Acolyte of the tale Secrets at the Heart of the Lake. The rewards are the Alloyed Scythe Blade, the Soul Tempering material for the Hunter's Chain Sickle, the Crystal Puppet Eye [Yang] and Hansui's Frost Mask (KeenGamer).
What the footage shows
PowerPyx's capture (Oct 30, 2026) opens on the Weeping Creek Valley map at the Crimson Manor, 98% complete, with the tale prompt "Secrets at the Heart of the Lake: Search the Crimson Manor for the Crystal Eyeball [Yang]". At 0:10 Soul crosses a plank walkway through a cavern strung with red thread; at 0:20 the Scavenger rears up, a pale, bloated puppet-beast the size of a house with two scythe blades for arms. The name bar "The Puppet Scavenger" is on screen from 0:25. At 1:40 a second bar, "Acolyte Hansui", appears beside it and the pen turns white and purple with frost: columns of ice rise from the floor at 1:45, 2:00 and 2:35, a white burst at 2:15, and both bars stay until about 2:45, when the Scavenger's bar is alone again. From 2:55 the beast is red and raw, at 3:10 its blades sweep the pen, at 3:25 the beast rears again, and the capture ends at 3:40 with Soul alone and, at 3:45, the mask pickup over the tale prompt.
