Who she is
Yan Qiansui, the Zither Maiden, is one of the three optional bosses of the bronze trophy "Master of the Misty Waters", "Defeat Blackwater Leader You Loong, Zither Maiden Yan Qiansui, and the One-Eyed Archer", all on Meigu Lake. KeenGamer places her at the Meigu Songhouse Dock after the six Yan'er Memory Flowers are collected; ActuGaming's guide says going to the songhouse without finishing the quest Allure of Vanity does nothing. Beebom lists her twice, once in its main-story order and once as an optional fight at the Sunken Opera House, but names only one reward set, and KeenGamer has a single entry. She holds the strings of the Illusory Pipa, the second of its three pieces.
What the footage shows
PowerPyx's capture (Oct 29, 2026) opens on the map at the Meigu Songhouse Dock under the quest Allure of Vanity; the name bar "Yan Qiansui, the Zither Maiden" is on screen from 0:15 to about 3:35. The arena is a misty lakeside yard of pale green grass in front of a grey-tiled hall. At 0:25 she stands in a red dress with the zither slung across her back; at 1:40 she is close in, playing, while Soul swings a chain; and at 2:55 and 3:20 the air fills with floating blue and red orbs that drift toward Soul. The drop texts at 3:40 read, for the Fanatic's Fragment: Attachment, "A fragment fallen from memories of brighter days. Knowing it was all in vain, they still plucked the strings again and again, searching for an old dream that could never be", and for the Illusory Pipa Strings, "Illusory Pipa's strings, bestowed by the High Elder. After Yan Qiansui's defeat, her zither shimmered with iridescent radiance", with the note that only Myst of the Three Sisters can restore the pipa once all three pieces are collected.
How ActuGaming handles her
She takes no damage while her guard is intact. Parry the blue orbs she sends out during her attacks to break her posture quickly; the red orbs cannot be parried, so the parries have to be timed around them. Once her posture breaks there is time to land your strongest combos on her health bar. The guide calls her fairly easy once the mechanic is understood. No English guide we can cite names her individual attacks yet.
Drops
The Illusory Pipa Strings and the Fanatic's Fragment: Attachment, a Soul Tempering material for The Fanatic's Broken Blade (KeenGamer; both item cards on screen in PowerPyx's capture). The Illusory Pipa Head comes from Dusk, the Puppeteer, in the Village of Lu.
