What is on record

A heavily armoured general with the Wolfjaw, a bladed mace, in the Pangzhen backstreets. Blue-glint combo enders are parried for a Ghoststep counter; a four-hit combo and a spinning arm grab are unblockable. After his first guard break he burns purple, gaining shockwaves and homing orbs.

Who he is

Wu Xuan, the Fallen General, is a main boss of Pangzhen in the chapter The Heart's Trail, fought in the backstreets past the Backstreet Archway bell (Game8, KeenGamer). Fextralife describes him as a heavily armoured boss who wields the Wolfjaw, a bladed mace; KeenGamer's Phantom Edge guide places him in the western part of town. The reward is the Wolfjaw Phantom Edge. There is no trophy.

What the footage shows

PowerPyx's capture (Oct 29, 2026) opens on the Pangzhen map at the Backstreet Archway, 15% complete, then on a stone stair into a lantern-strung street. At 0:15 the name bar "Wu Xuan, the Fallen General" appears and he says, "Slaughter. Crush. Grind them to dust." He is a broad armoured figure with a spiked mace as long as he is tall, under red paper lanterns on a square of flagstones. At 0:45 a teal and red burst marks a guard break and at 0:50 he leaps high above the square; at 0:55 he says, "The souls of our fallen now return to the Blight!" and from then on he is wreathed in purple flame, with purple orbs drifting across the square at 1:00 and a purple shockwave at 1:15. The capture ends at 1:25 with the screen full of purple.

Attacks and how the guides handle them

Game8 splits the fight by glint. Three combo enders flash blue and are parried for a Ghoststep counter: the Shovel Swings (vertical swings after a short wind-up), the Grinding Mace to Heavy Swing (he spins the mace, then a horizontal sweep) and the Rapid Slams (a ground slam, then three quick overheads). Two are unblockable: the 4-hit Combo, two horizontal then two vertical swings with an unblockable last hit, and the Arm Swing, a fast close-range grab out of a spinning arm, which the guide says to dodge rather than parry. Phase two starts after his guard is broken once and he recovers; the purple flames raise his damage, add explosions to some attacks and homing projectiles. New there are Purple Explosions to Cyclone Swings (he leaps to the centre, two dodgeable shockwaves, then horizontal swings ending in a parryable blue glint) and the Tactical Tantrum (he throws himself down and flails; the second circular swing has a parryable blue glint). Game8 recommends guard-break weapons and gear because his large guard meter blocks direct damage; perfect parries drain it fastest.

Fextralife's list for phase one is the Winding Mace (spin forward and slam; dodge sideways) and the Double Slam (block the first, interrupt the second). For phase two: the Blighted Slam that starts it (dodge the slam and explosion, keep moving until the orbs pass), the Cyclone (go to the arena edge and sidestep, or block and parry with enough Sha-Chi), the Reverse Slam (he turns away and falls back with the mace out; dodge to either side), the Corrupted Tantrum (back away and dodge the final hit) and the Rotating Mace (a thrust and rotation; dodge sideways). It says to stay close in phase one and be more patient in phase two.

Drops

The Wolfjaw Phantom Edge (Game8, KeenGamer). Its item card is on screen at 1:24 in PowerPyx's capture.

Phase notes

The phases above are the ones shown in official footage, named by their on-screen name bars. Tells, punish windows and health thresholds are added only once the retail fight has been checked; we do not invent them from trailer cuts.
